The science behind the product:
Enjoy comprehensive nutrient support with every dose of Life Extension Mix™:
Vitamins and minerals:
- Vitamin D3 – research indicates that many people are not getting enough vitamin D, a vital nutrient for maintaining strong bones, healthy muscles, cardiovascular health, balanced glucose metabolism, immune support, and more. Most experts recommend a daily intake of 1,000 to 4,000 IU for adults to achieve optimal blood levels of vitamin D. However, some people may need higher doses to reach a target blood level of 50-80 ng/mL of 25-hydroxyvitamin D. Each daily dose of Life Extension Mix™ provides 2,000 IU of vitamin D3. Additionally, this formula includes only 500 IU of preformed vitamin A, which could potentially interfere with some vitamin D actions (unlike beta-carotene). Many multivitamins, however, contain between 5,000 and 25,000 IU of preformed vitamin A.
- 5-MTHF (5-methyltetrahydrofolate) – folate plays a role in maintaining homocysteine levels within the normal range. One dose of Life Extension Mix™ has 400 mcg of the bioactive 5-MTHF form of folate, which is up to 7 times more bioavailable than ordinary folic acid.
- Selenium – this formula includes three powerful forms of selenium (SelenoExcell®, Se-methyl-selenocysteine, and sodium selenite) for antioxidant support, promoting healthy cellular division, heart and brain health, and thyroid function.
- Chromium, magnesium & biotin – Life Extension Mix™ contains 500 mcg of Chrominex, along with highly absorbable magnesium and biotin to support healthy glucose metabolism, beneficial lipid levels, and cardiovascular health.
- Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate – glycation, a normal part of aging, can impact health. Each daily dose of Life Extension Mix™ provides 100 mg of pyridoxal 5'-phosphate, an active form of vitamin B6 that has been shown to inhibit glycation reactions.

Botanical extracts:
- Bio-quercetin – in a randomized clinical trial, researchers compared the formulated bio-quercetin to unformulated quercetin. The results showed that quercetin combined with fenugreek fibers achieved serum levels of total quercetin up to 62 times higher, and free (unconjugated) quercetin levels 18 times higher, than the unformulated version.
- Delphinidins
– is a potent anthocyanins found in dark red fruits that can help produce nitric oxide, promoting endothelial health, vascular relaxation, and already-healthy blood pressure. They can also inhibit inflammatory factors and glycation, supporting immune health, protecting DNA structure, and maintaining healthy blood sugar levels. This formula includes delphinidins sourced from maqui berry extract.
- Blueberry extracts – Life Extension Mix™ features wild blueberry extract, rich in active constituents that can help inhibit free radicals, promote healthy lipid and glucose levels within the normal range, protect DNA structure, and support healthy cellular proliferation. Clinical studies show that blueberries also offer antioxidant benefits, support a healthy immune system, and enhance cognitive function.
- Standardized green tea extract – green tea is rich in polyphenols, especially epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). Each dose of Life Extension Mix™ contains 325 mg of decaffeinated green tea extract, standardized to 98% active polyphenols. Green tea supports healthy cellular proliferation, cardiovascular and metabolic health, DNA structure, and nerve cell protection.
- Apigenin – is a bioflavonoid found in various vegetables and fruits. It can offers protection against oxidative damage, support a healthy inflammatory response, and help maintain normal blood pressure and cell division.
- Standardized vegetable extracts – Life Extension Mix™ includes a variety of vegetable extracts, such as a concentrated broccoli mixture standardized for sulforaphane and glucosinolates. These compounds offer detoxifying properties, promote healthy DNA, and protect against oxidative stress. Additionally, lutein from marigold and lycopene from tomatoes support eye health, DNA maintenance, and protect against LDL oxidation.
- Standardized fruit extracts – in addition to standardized pomegranate and wild blueberry extracts, this formula includes luteolin, a flavonoid that protects against oxidation, inhibits inflammatory factors, and supports immune health. Moreover, there are extracts from bilberry, grape seed, and citrus, which are rich in antioxidants that promote visual acuity, a healthy inflammatory response, and blood circulation. This proprietary blend is further enhanced with tart cherry for cardiovascular and brain health, muscle support, and a custom mix of blackberry, cranberry, plum, elderberry, persimmon, and cherry, which offer multiple health benefits. Studies also highlight the benefits of olive polyphenols; this supplement includes olive extract standardized for hydroxytyrosol, which can support cardiovascular health by inhibiting LDL oxidation and oxidative damage.
- Sesame seed lignan extract –
Life Extension Mix™ delivers 10 mg of sesame seed lignan extract, which can support healthy gamma tocopherol levels and offers various health benefits, including protecting lipids from oxidation, supporting metabolic health, maintaining normal cholesterol/LDL levels, and enhancing fish oil benefits.
- Standardized pomegranate extract – is standardized to deliver punicalagins, potent polyphenols that support a healthy inflammatory response, maintain normal blood pressure, promote endothelial function, reduce oxidative stress, and positively influence metabolic and cardiovascular markers.
- Cyanidin-3-Glucoside (C3G) – Life Extension Mix™ includes 1.25 mg of C3G to support eye health. Sourced from blackberries and black currants, C3G can enhance night vision by promoting healthy rhodopsin levels and offer potent antioxidant properties to support endothelial cell health.
