Health benefits at a glance:

As we age, stiffness and discomfort in the joints become inevitable. That affects normal routine activities since mobility is more limited. Aging also results in an unfavorable balance of cytokines, components that contribute to inflammation in your body.

Fortunately, you can do your part to maintain joint health over the time with focused nutrition. Life Extension® has created a variety of joint and mobility health formulas — the best of which bear our ArthroMax® product family name.

Each one has a unique ingredient formulation to promote joint health, comfort, and mobility!

Scientists have discovered back tea compounds that suppress the formation of inflammatory factors called cytokines. They are called theaflavins and have been added to this supplement.

Why it works:

A part from black tea theaflavins, ArthroMax® with Theaflavins AprèsFlex® also contains MSM (methyl-sulfonylmethane), AprèsFlex® Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata), glucosamine, and is enriched with a patented form of boron (FruiteX B® OsteoBoron®).

All ingrendients are included to, together, support joint health, healthy bones and mobility in different ways. Enjoy a science-based, vegan-friendly joint health supplement.

The science behind the product:

  • AprèsFlex® boswellia

AprèsFlex® represents a quantum leap forward in the delivery of boswellia to ageing joints. Long prized for its ability to inhibit inflammation, boswellia is especially effective at inhibiting the 5-LOX (5-lipoxygenase) enzyme. (1,2)

Boswellia binds directly to the 5-LOX enzyme, preventing it from facilitating production of pro-inflammatory components. AprèsFlex® boswellia absorbs into the blood much better than previously available forms of boswellia, giving it superior effectiveness.

In a placebo-controlled clinical study, Boswellia extract improved signs of joint discomfort in just 8 weeks. (4)

  • Glucosamine and boron

In randomized controlled clinical trials, glucosamine is shown to support the underlying structural foundation for joint and cartilage tissue and promote joint health. (5,6)

ArthroMax® with Theaflavins & AprèsFlex® can also provide boron, a mineral essential for healthy bones and joints. (7,8)

  • MSM (methylsulfonylmethane)

MSM has shown excellent results in supporting knee joint comfort and function in clinical trials when combined with glucosamine and boswellic acids. (9,10)

  • Black tea theaflavins

Black tea theaflavins have been shown in a preclinical study to help maintain healthy cartilage in the face of oxidative stress and to help inhibit inflammatory factors to support joint health. (11)
