Product details "Optimized Tryptophan Plus"

Serotonin is a hormone that cares for the connection between nerve cells. It is naturally found in the brain and digestive tract and it positively impacts your mood and sleep. To produce and maintain optimum serotonin levels your body requires tryptophan, an amino acid your body cannot produce.

Tryptophan seems to improve sleep, improve your mood and regulate stress. That is why Life Extension produced Optimized Tryptophan Plus to broadly and powerfully support tryptophan levels already within the normal range.

The basis for this formula is premium L-tryptophan, which has undergone significantly more rigorous manufacturing processes than regular tryptophan material to assure the highest purity and safety.

In addition to an optimal amount of premium tryptophan, this formula has been enriched with nutrients that assist in maintaining tryptophan activity in your body.

Those nutrients include lysine, niacinamide and extracts of hops and rosemary to provide nutritive support for the natural production of serotonin.

Serotonin syndrome is characterized by high levels of serotonin and symptoms like confusion, sweating, agitation, nausea, involuntary muscle contractions, and racing heartbeat. Do not take L-tryptophan if you experience these symptoms. Because tryptophan may have numerous drug interactions (most commonly, MAOIs and SSRIs) consult your healthcare provider before taking this product if you are taking prescription medications. Do not use before driving or operating heavy machinery.

Do not purchase if outer seal is broken or damaged.

If you are undergoing treatment for a medical condition or if you are pregnant or lactating, please consult with your medical practitioner first.
