Lutein

What is lutein? Lutein is a carotenoid; a natural compound in vegetables and other plants. Though yellow, it is especially abundant in dark, leafy green vegetables like kale.

Lutein is popular for its ability to help reduce age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. These are the two leading causes of blindness.

With lutein's benefits, it can structurally support the macula pigment, and protect the eye from oxidative stresses caused by exposure to light and oxygen. It can also reduce inflammation.
