Benefits at a Glance:
Women who are trying to become pregnant, already are pregnant, or who are nursing, have unique nutritional needs. That’s why Life Extension® has developed a science-backed prenatal nutrition formula: Prenatal Advantage. This formula provides the latest recommended dosages of vitamins and minerals (vitamin A, B, C, D3, K, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, folate, iron, iodine, zinc, selenium, copper, potassium) as well as extra nutrients like choline, lutein, zeaxanthin and DHA omega-3- which can benefit mum and her baby.
Why it Works:
As a mother-to-be or a new mother, it’s extra important that you choose a prenatal formula that delivers all the daily nutrients that you and your baby need.
The Prenatal Advantage formula from Life Extension® delivers a wealth of science-backed nutrients that are perfectly calibrated to deliver the optimal prenatal nutrient formula. These include Vitamin A, several kinds of vitamin B (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12), Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K and Folate.
Furthermore, this formula also offers important minerals such as iron, iodine, zinc, selenium, copper, potassium and more.
And on top of that, this formula also packs additional nutrients such as DHA, Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Choline for good measure, as they add extra benefits.
By packing all of these nutrients into one formula, Prenatal Advantage goes beyond standard prenatal nutrient coverage and offers comprehensive nutrient support - for both you and your baby.
The Science Behind the Product:
Aside from a wealth of vitamins and minerals, this product also contains added nutrients that enhance nutrient coverage for both of you:
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid)
DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that, among other things, promotes healthy brain and visual development. Consuming the omega-3 fatty acid type DHA during pregnancy and nursing goes a long way toward promoting healthy brain and eye development .
And while most DHA is derived from fish oil, the DHA omega-3 fatty acid we include in our Prenatal Advantage Formula is derived from marine algae.
Lutein and zeaxanthin
Our innovative prenatal formula also includes carotenoids like lutein and zeaxanthin.
Choline is an essential nutrient. Studies show that many pregnant and nursing women don’t get enough choline from their diets. Prenatal Advantage contains 275 mg of choline,
